Celtic in this case is not pronounced like the team (SELL-tik), but rather (KELL-tik). Celtic Music is the music of the British isles, especially Ireland and Scotland. Many people think of "Danny Boy" when they think of Irish music, but "Danny Boy" is not Irish - it's American. Kris Shearer is a high school math teacher who is also a painter in search of the right side of her brain. She thrives on technology and learning new things. Kris loves being a granny and wishes she could live closer to her grandsons. |

 Highlights from our trip in June 2008 to Aberdeenshire and the Grampian Highlands in Scotland. We visited castles and a distillery from Aberdeen up the Royal Deeside to Bancory and Balmoral. (Soon to be posted) New photos from our trip June 2010 are being posted to our gallery page.
